Nancy, one of our registered veterinary technicians, has officially passed her national board exam and earned her certification as a canine massage therapist! đž She spent 2 years taking classes and learning her skills through a school in St. Louis. Many of our employee pets have enjoyed their time being her âpractice patientsâ while she honed her massage skills.
Our practice will now be offering canine massage to our patients. Massage appointments will, for now, be offered on Fridays at the Carmel Veterinary Clinic location. Massage can benefit any pet, as with humans, but can be especially beneficial for older pets with arthritis, have trouble getting around due to muscle pain or injury, your or athletic pets with limb or back injuries and pets dealing with stress and/or anxiety.
